Hip Hop Routine
Yesterday, the ladies showed off their much anticipated Hip Hop routine. It did not disappoint. I think the girls got louder cheers than the basketball team. To top it all off, they placed 4th of 12 teams at today's Freedom meet! Great work, ladies! We're very proud of all of you and are glad that all those 5am wake-up calls have been worth it.
Jazz Routine
The ladies were back at it on Tuesday, dancing before the basketball game ("sidelines") and during halftime. This was their Jazz routine, which was one of the two routines they prepared for the Freedom meet, which was held earlier today (results forthcoming). I liked the Jazz routine. I really did. But I didn't get it. At all. Some of the girls were crying. It was very emotional. And while it was cool, it looked out of place at halftime of a basketball game. Again, I liked it. But... crying? It was an Adele song, but it wasn't "Someone Like You." So I really didn't get it. Then again, I'm a boy. Whatever. Let's start with some sidelines...

12/20 Pommin' Basketball Parents' Night
Juuuuuuuuust got one last pommin' in before Christmas. But since it was Parents' Nigh/Junior High Collaboration Day, the routine was, well, routine.
Nutcracker
I am such a bad blogger. My gosh, this happened LAST YEAR! Sorry Anna. I'll try to keep more up to date in the future...
